Hello Baseball Families The weather has certainly been reminiscent of baseball season recently! For those of you new to Westonka Youth Baseball Association– welcome! To those of you that have been part of our Association – welcome back! As with every volunteer association we rely on the help of our association members to ensure all participants have a positive experience during their years playing baseball. In an effort to get more of you involved in these activities, we would like to invite you to join us Monday, January 23, 8:30PM at MWHS Room C123 (immediately following 8th grade registration) to learn more about the volunteer opportunities we have available this year. Some of these opportunities require ongoing support; some are one time opportunities. We have something for everyone, not just the dad’s! Some examples would be Registration Assistants, Fundraising coordinators, Field Scheduler, etc. They are all important to our association’s success. We sincerely hope that you will consider volunteering your time and talent during this New Year. We are always in need of coaches. This year the board has made the decision to offer a full registration discount for one player per family to all Head Coaches. Please note that registration/clinics will be held at MWHS on February 26th and March 5th. There will be more information coming your way in the next week or so. Please watch for those details. A late fee will be charged to all late registrations if your player can be placed on a team. We sincerely appreciate all of our volunteers.
